I have stayed at several hotels on the Strip and Mandalay Bay is bar none my top pick. It is very clean and the rooms are spacious. The food is alos great at most of the restaurants. It’s location is not in the heart of the action, but they do have a tram that takes you to Luxor and Excalibur. From there you can easily go anywhere. Try to upgrade to a suite and you will be glad you did.

[...] If you’re looking to stick to The Strip when you come to Las Vegas, you will find that the choices for clubs are endless. Every hotel/casino has at least one. Lets take a closer look at a couple of the more popular haunts. Rumjungle is located inside the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino where you will find the city’s largest stockpile of Rum hence the name. Catering to an upscale clientele that shuns the common rave club-goer, Rumjungle is open all week bringing a fresh selection of music nightly to make you move that ranges from Hip Hop to Funk. [...]

[...] There are loads of things to do just in this one small section of the Strip within just a short walk or maybe a ride. The three south most hotels on the west side of Las Vegas Boulevard are connected by a monorail that really makes it convenient to see what each has to offer. The first stop is Mandalay Bay where you’re going to find a unique beach theme complete with a beach, and a shark reef. You can sample the music of Abba at the featured show Mamma Mia or enjoy a day at the spa. Mandalay Bay is top-notch Las Vegas. All that glitters really is gold. [...]

The Hotel at Mandalay Bay is very nice – for adults. Plus a nice sports book and poker area.

My favorite part of Mandalay Bay was Mix on top of THEhotel. It is a lounge that over looks the entire strip from 64 stories up. When we were at Mix, there was a lightening storm over the city and it was one of the most beatiful things I’ve ever seen. Plus there is an outdoor area where you can sit outside, nearly on top of THEhotel. Wait until you try the bathroom! There are floor to ceiling windows just inches from your feet. You’re overlooking the mountains from 64 stories in the air. Another great thing? There was no cover before 10pm. Plus, my company had put me up in Excalibur, and Mandalay Bay was just a monorail ride away!
This trip was provided by my company which offers vacations at all 12 of the MGM Mirage properties in Las Vegas. When you book your vacation at Mandalay Bay with MGM MIRAGE Vacations, you get exclusive amenites, and MGM MIRAGE Vacations is the only place you will find amenities of this kind. Plus, coming up on 6/28/06, we are having a huge summer sale, which will allow you to take $100 off every reservation of three days or longer. Please come take a look.

Best Pool in Vegas is at Mandalay. Insane looking women. Hard Rock has died of allot in the last few years.

Mandalay Bay is good, but there are 2 hotels there. One is just the plain old Mandalay Bay. But the 2nd is called The Suites at Mandalay Bay and they are COMPLETELY different. The suites have a 50″ flat screen in every room, 2 bathrooms (one in the bedroom and 1 in the living area) and a tv in the bathroom too. I stayed there last year and will be again in July. It’s been the best bang for the buck I’ve seen.

went 3 times between Oct-05 & Mar-06. Stayed at Mandalay Bay, Bellagio, and Mirage. All 3 were great. You really can’t go wrong with any of the big-name hotels on the strip. While Bellagio was the nicest, I think I liked Mandalay Bay the most. It definitely has the best pool on the strip (hard rock is off-strip).
