   Wat a mess this place is-Rooms look like the 60’s old dark and need updateing-If your looking for something nice-pass on this hotel

   Great location and clean hotel. The MGM, being an older hotel, is not as packed as many of the newer hotels. It is, however, in a great location for walking to places like New York New York, Excalibur, The Luxor, etc. I enjoyed being able to go out on the strip and enjoy all of what Vegas had to offer, while being able to come back to slightly more laid back and reserved hotel. This is different from hotels like the Riviera and Circus Circus because they had a strong sense of being outdated and unclean. MGM did not. It just seemed to appeal to the older crowd, which is also a quieter crowd.
