The hotel is old and the "non-smoking" rooms smelled like smoke! The hallways smelled musty! The Stratosphere was an excellent value, the shopping mall inside was convenient, especially the McDonald's where my husband got breakfast for us every morning for a week.It did not hurt our budget at all. We have 3 kids. I have stayed at the Flamingo Hilton but no, I will be returning to the Stratosphere soon although the only "inconvenience is that it is at the "end" of the strip.
