Save your money and avoid the Platinum. We stayed there last night and left this morning to take a hotel around the corner. First, you will a beautifully decorated lobby that is very upscale, I am sure that this set me up for high expectations--big mistake. Upon entering my room, it was hot, temp out side 85 degrees, the heat was on requiring the maintence person to come and reset, then he had to replace a filthy filter for the air handler. We had a refrigerator that was suppose to produce ice, however it had been turned off and the maintenance man had to come and turn it on. We would have loved to have a cup of coffee out on the balcomy, however it was filthy and I suppose we could have cleaned it, which would have required at least an hours of scrubbing all the furniture and banister, (I was suppose to be on vacation. So we left the hotel this am, and walked around the corner to stay at a Super Motel 8, which was secure, quiet, had a small refrigerator (good enough to keep our soda cold) and free wifi (not free at the Platinum), nice firm bed, clean, and friendly staff with free transportation to the airport.
