I stayed at The Tropicana and thought it was a nice, clean room for the money.
I Travel to Atlantic City frequently and have stayed at The Tropicana there too.
I think it is worth staying at and will be back.

I stayed at the Tropicana Hotel couple years ago. Its nothing to brag about. Its at the end of the strip and it is quit a walk to go to Ceasers. If your not into high class stuff and looking for decient rooms for a cheap price this is the place to go.

Tropicana is low-end with Holiday Inn quality rooms; clean but not particularly comfortable.
